About the Artist
As a mother of 4th generation Punta Gorda natives, Trina Coleman is passionate about helping others in her local community heal through her art. After losing her younger brother Nic in a tragic accident in 2013, Trina experienced first-hand the grief of losing a loved one. To honor Nic's memory and help the family continue to heal from the loss, Trina created her first memorial ocean piece with her brother's ashes as a gift to her parents. It was then that she realized her purpose in life- helping others heal their hearts and memorialize their loved ones through beautiful ocean art work and jewelry- and Soulscapes Art began.
